The world is in crisis, but what do we do about it??
We practice sharing! It might sound overly simplistic, but sharing more of our lives, our connection, and our skills/interests/resources is how we cultivate a society based in human solidarity. Practicing mutual aid together in more varied and complex ways enables us to build the collective agency necessary to take charge of our communities. No one can do this for us. It will take each of us contributing to the project of making a better world. Joy Bomb is a microcosm of that work, in progress. We aim to radiate out the spirit, and practice, of cooperation, care, and solidarity.
At Joy Bomb, getting involved is the foundation and there are many points of entry to get involved. Every contribution matters because everything here is built by the community, for the community. Free and powered by participation. You can contribute by donating your time, sharing goods, or opening space for others by hosting something of your own. Whatever you have to offer has a place here.

Do you have a skill or interest you would like others to know about?
Are you interested in learning a skill and want to connect with others interested as well? Whether it is sewing, drawing, graphic design, basic fix-it skills, book binding, CPR/first-aid -- anything you can think of -- we want to help you get there with us!
Share Time
Along with sharing skills and sharing resources, sharing your time is just as important to helping Joy Bomb become something special. Being present at events, offering ideas for making the project more vibrant, and spending time with your neighbors is the foundation of a thriving community beyond the differences separating us.

Becoming a Joy Bomber
Organizing with Joy Bomb is a higher level of commitment than putting on a single event or playing a show. Joining as a Joy Bomber, means you are interested in becoming a community organizer along with us -- agreeing with our mission, agreeing with our principles, and agreeing to join with our collective effort to empowering our communities.
Vision
A world where need and solidarity replaces hierarchy, exploitation, and oppression of human/non-human animals and the earth.
Mission
Facilitate the formation and growth of communal, counter-power institutions, rooted in human solidarity, non-hierarchy, and collective care with the purpose of expanding community control over daily life.
Aim
Building people power and community networks by hosting events, catalyzing mutual aid projects to meet our community’s needs, and practicing non-hierarchical organizational strategies with the goal of infusing our region with an action-based, cooperative culture.
